Drug Xarelto 20mg is what medicine?
- Xarelto (rivaroxaban) is an anticoagulant (blood thinning) that can prevent the formation of blood clots.
- Xarelto is used to prevent or treat a type of blood clot called deep vein thrombosis (DVT), which can lead to blood clots in the lungs (pulmonary embolism). DVT can occur after some types of surgery.

How to use rivaroxaban 20mg
- Take Xarelto exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Xarelto is taken either once a day or twice daily, depending on the reason for using this medication. Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
