Dazu Buddhist Stone Sculpture
Located in Chongqing, it is known as Big-Buddha valley, in
which 50,000 stone sculptures scattered in 40 places in this
area. It tells the story about Buddha, Taoist and Confucius. The
famous include "The Paradise", "Whispering" "The Complete
Awakening", "Thousand-Hand Bodhistattva of Compassion", and
"King of Brightness". |

Temple of Confucius
Located in Qufu of Shandong, it was built 478 BC and consists
of 446 rooms. It exhibits 2,000 stone tablets from different
dynasties and preserves books, scripts and many replicas. It
offers places for paying homage to Confucius and his ancestors.
In town, the Kong's family graveyard has over 100,000 tombs, the
world longest continuation graveyard. |

The White Cloud Taoist Temple
Located in Beijing, it was built in 11th Century and is the
most famous Taoist temple in China. Apart from the architect and
religious ceremonies, it keeps many books, art works, paintings,
scriptures, Scientific instruments and sculptures related to
Taoism. It was a place where Tao was taught and studied. |

Xiangshan & Biyun Temple
Located in Beijing, it was built 700 years ago, continuously
developed and renovated through the years. The Buddha, lies on
his sides, is 5.2 meters long. The hall of Five Hundred Arhats
is in Biyun Temple. The Temple of "Universal Awakening" is also
located here. Visitors come here to enjoy the Peach Blossom
festival every April. |

Yingang Grottos
Located in Datong of Shanxi, it was built in 453 AD and has
15,000 status in 52 caves. It tells "Buddha Life Story" and "The
Pure Land". The key figures include "The Loutian Buddha", "The
Buddhist Musicians", "Manjusris consoling patients" and "Ahsituo
conducting divinations". |
