Forbidden City
The Imperial Palace for Ming and Qing dynasties. It was built 500
years ago and is the most complete preserved ancient structure in
China. Others were destroyed during the G8 invasion and wars. The
Palace now preserves many art treasuries and antiques from the
primitive societies to various dynasties. |

Potala Palace
A great achievement of architectural and cultural arts by Tibet
people. It was first built 1,300 years ago and then reconstructed in
1600. It is the religious and political center in Tibet. It has
preserved many art treasuries, books, sculptures, scripts and
antiques. The West, especially British, have wanted a piece of this
treasure land long ago. |

Suzhou Garden
Besides the imperial gardens, there are many private gardens in
China. Suzhou style is the most famous. It combines a residence and
a compact garden with artificial hill, rocks, bridges, trees and
flowers. All were based on natural scenery and spiritual feelings.
It is one of many Chinese heritages that Chinese is proud of. |

Yellow Crane Tower
It was first built in 223 AD and the last rebuilt was in 1985.
The tower has many stories and legendary associated with it. There
are thousands of poems and art works written for it. The tower is
overlooking the Yangtze River and was a place of gathering for
artists, poets and politicians in the ancient time. It is a place of
historical importance in Chinese literature and Taoism. |
